PRO-TIPS FROM PROFESSIONALS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY

Here it is, everybody. Everything you'll ever have to know about how to be a successful musician.

1. Write your goals down.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm sure you all have them in detail in your mind as to exactly what you want to do. But the reality of the matter - and this is a psychological fact - is that 3% of the population actually write their goals down, and that 3% has more financial wealth than the combined wealth of the remaining 97% of the population. That's why you see so few luxury high-end vehicles on the road. But yes, I'm sure everyone driving a Ford has a plan in their mind. Pen to paper - WRITE IT DOWN! You'll be amazed.

2. Get educated on how to achieve your goals.
Whether it's reading books from http://www.musicbooksplus.com/ or it's going to a college, or it's interning with a professional company that you admire, get educated and take notes. Once again - WRITE IT DOWN. (Special advisory regards colleges: don't go to a college that will accept you according to the clearing of your cheque, and that makes no effort to audition you and find out if you're even qualified, or have the prerequisite education to understand the course you're about to embark on).

3. The final step - the simplest and yet the hardest - JUST DO IT.
In other words, follow through with everything you have learned in Step 2. You now have a road-map to success (if you took notes), but the reality is that some people have a very hard time following through on their plans for whatever psychological subconscious impeding reason. Example: it was easy to pretend you were going to be a rock star, going to audio college than it is to actually get out in the real world and do it. This studio is dedicated to youth that are the real deal and want to do it. They want to make music. And we're here for you.
