Frankly High School in the 70’s really rocked. Bands like the Stampeders, April Wine and believe it or not the Police played in Scarborough High Schools. That would be like the Hip or Sum41 showing up at a school today. Needless to say, that’s a positive, encouraging environment to foster a career in concert productions and management in the Music scene.
First gig was, as a manager, at the age of 15 with a band called Tribulation. The love of woodworking, Physics and all things loud bought Gerard into the Speaker manufacturing industry in 1981. With a focus on high-end professional speaker equipment, one of Gerard’s first customers was Geddy Lee of Rush. Since then he has enjoyed the honour of building for many of Canada’s top Professional Juno award wining musicians. As an entrepreneur Gerard ran a punk club in 82 until some one drove a car through the front doors. He also produced and hosted a cable TV program called the “Tools of Rock &Roll” in late 1988. Yes it bared a remarkable resemblance to Wayne’s world whose first skit aired in 89. (Where is Mike Meyers from?)
After 25 successful years of being in the Canadian Music industry, Gerard embarked on lifetime dream to build the worlds first Corporate sponsored free Recording studio for young people.

“Greed is the worlds cancer. All good men should hate greed and fight it, and hope there’s a hell for the rest. I have been most fortunate to experience the goodwill and generosity of both corporations and our industries next generation of artists and professional. It is my desire that we show both young and old in our community, the joys and benefits of sharing.”
